Here is a gorgeous antique hand loomed French torchon tea towel circa late 1800's early 1900's. The French tea towel fabric is a rustic nubbly material. I believe that there is hemp in the tea towel.
Antique French Kitchen Tea Towel Measurement: 40 1/2" x 21 3/4".
Color: oatmeal porridge color.
The antique French kitchen tea towel has a red cross stitch monogram in the top left corner. The intials on the French tea towel are R H. The tea towel has a hanging tape at both ends for hanging. The long side edges of the towel have been hand hemmed.
Antique French Primitives Tea Towel Condition: The tea towel fabric is strong, unmarked & in very good condition. I saw no stains or damage to the towel.
This robust tea towel cloth is a lovely example of French country life and is sure to add a beautiful French touch in your kitchen. Hemp is a beautiful textile that is strong & washes well.
