Here is a set of 2 vintage French Metis linen / cotton torchon kitchen tea towels. The vintage torchon towels have red stripes on each side of the towel.
The vintage towel set is sure to add a beautiful French touch in your kitchen or would be lovely to use at Christmas time.
Vintage French Towel Measurement: 24" x 33" approx. The towel has selvage side edges and machine stitched top and bottom edges.
Material: Metis Linen and Cotton.
For those who are unfamiliar with French Metis it is a woven fabric in which linen is used for the vertical thread and cotton is used for the horizontal thread. It is extremely tough so the tea towels should last years.
The color of the towel is beige. Please see photos.
There is a hanging tag on the towel so it can be hung up.
Vintage French Towel Condition: The torchon towels are in excellent condition and I saw no obvious faults.
Purchased from France. Age: Unknown. Original seller said the towels were unused.
