Here is an antique bath show towel with an embroidered monogram, a date of 1893 and a small fringe edging. This would be a great display towel or perhaps using the embroidered portions of it for framing.
Due to numerous tiny holes to the linen it is too fragile to use.
Antique Show Bath Towel Measurement: 73" x 19".
The antique linen towel also has an embroidered monogram initials of perhaps a G along with a R. I am unsure of the first letter. The other end of the antique bath show towel has a embroidered design. The embroidery work is lovely however all the embroidery colors have faded due to use over time.
Color: white. Material: Cotton
Antique Show Bath Towel Condition: Good display condition with some faults. Numerous tiny holes to the linen (see photos).
